There are four levels and three concourses of Fort Lauderdale Airport Terminal 1 :

Levels

Level 1: Arrivals

  • This level is dedicated to arrivals and features three baggage claim areas in its core. Additionally, there are two baggage claims each facing Concourses B and C.

Level 2: Departures and Ticketing

  • Level 2 is the departure and ticketing area. It boasts separate security checkpoints, with one located at the west end of Concourse C and another at the east end of Concourses A and B.

Level 3: Services and Lounge Access

  • The third level offers various airport services and provides access to passenger lounges.

Concourses

Concourse A

  • Concourse A encompasses boarding gates A1 to A7. It’s essential to note that five of these gates serve both international and domestic flights, with a primary focus on international flights.

Concourse B

  • Concourse B includes boarding gates B2 to B9 and houses the Business Centre.

Concourse C

  • Concourse C accommodates boarding gates C1 to C9 and features a Concession Hall and a Business Centre post-security.

Transferring Between Terminals 

Passengers at Fort Lauderdale Airport Terminal 1 can transfer to other terminals via courtesy shuttles. The shuttle bus stops are located at the lower level outside of each terminal. The shuttles operate from 6 am to 9 pm, seven days a week.

However, the transfer between terminals is temporarily suspended.

  • Passengers at Fort Lauderdale Airport have the option to travel between terminals via courtesy shuttle buses. Shuttle bus stops are conveniently located at the lower level outside of each terminal.

Service Hours:

  • The courtesy shuttles that connect the terminals operate from 6 am to 9 pm every day of the week. Meanwhile, the courtesy shuttles that link the terminals to the Rental Car Center are available 24/7.

Important Note:

  • Please be aware that, at the moment, the transfer service between terminals is temporarily suspended.
